One of the biggest issues old Land Rover Defenders face is rust and corrosion. Unless they are completely restored – and documented through the process – these issues will be present in nearly every single Defender you see on the market. It’s partially due to the factory design but mostly due to the lack of care, maintenance, and simple cleaning over the years.
This is a short video we shot one night at the Bishop+Rook Minneapolis workshop, where we walked through a restoration candidate’s chassis and determined it was simply too far gone to save.
