This little Defender 90 was born in the UK, but spent her entire life living in Spain.  She was originally registered in Girona, a small city in northern Catalonia, Spain. She is a true Solihull factory-built LHD Land Rover Defender with a super desirable 300Tdi engine. During the refresh process, we try to maintain as much of her originality as possible – with a few creative upgrades here and there.

How This Land Rover Defender 90 Started:

Every Defender that comes into one of the Bishop+Rook Restoration Centers starts their life somewhere in the wild.  We have a team of Land Rover enthusiasts and sourcing partners that help us find those unique gems that can be preserved for another 25 years of wandering or transformed into a heritage classic that will become a reliable and unique daily adventure vehicle.

We fell in love with the simplicity of Girona, with a clean canvas for us to begin our work.  We kept the original Fuji White, but gave her a full inside and out paint job to correct any tiny imperfections that existed.  We also performed a complete service, ensuring all major mechanical components were either repaired, refurbished, or replaced to new.

We price our vehicles fairly. Any profit we make is turned back into our creative projects or seeking out our next restoration. Any work we do is to ensure people can enjoy the vehicles right away – we make sure they are adventure ready on day one.
