ABOUT THIS LAND ROVER

This is the type of Land Rover we all dream of owning.  It’s also one of those Land Rovers that might be hard for us to let go of.

NOTE:  We recently took a deposit on this Land Rover, but if you’re looking for something similar, please reach out and our search team will see what we can find. Or sometimes, we just have stuff we haven’t gotten around to putting online.

Our Bishop+Rook UK team members found this one tucked away in a nearby farm.  It was covered in dust and random pieces of wood, but it was a Landy, so we had to ask about it.  After a bit of chatting, we agreed on a price and we were suddenly the new caretakers of one of motoring’s iconic vehicles.

BUILD SPECIFICATION

We plan to do a complete mechanical service on the important components of the vehicle to ensure it is running in tip-top condition.  We’re considering updating the interior with a period-correct trim set from Exmoor and perhaps completing a sympathetic refresh of the wheels/tyres and top.

This Land Rover Series I can be driven with the top on or off, including adding a soft-top hood to complete the package.  As you will see in the video below, the transition between the two of them can be very quick and easy – making this the ultimate fun car to add to your collection.

We are open to other ideas and suggestions for the build from interested parties.  The price will reflect additional work completed.  Once we transport it to the US workshop we will adjust the price based on the current import and transport costs, as well.

We finally found a way to combine our life’s passion into helping others find their dream car. We restore the vehicles to an adventure-tested stage – not over-restored and not over-priced.
