1992 Land Rover Defender 110 - 2.5L Diesel - Preservation Series
The Base Restoration
We acquired this Land Rover Defender 110 during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic and she sat in our storage facility in Spain while we waited for the shipping lines to gear back up. Once she got to our workshop in the US, she sat again for another 6-8 months before we could get to her. Originally planned to be a full restoration, but once we started to do some basic maintenance work we realized we had a bit of a gem on our hands.
A Timeless Classic
Amalia is an original factory green Land Rover Defender 110 200Tdi that has the perfect amount of age and patina, but after an extensive mechanical service has proven to be a lovely daily driver. The chassis is in exceptional original condition, with all the major service items performed by our preservation team in Minneapolis.
Preservation Class
Amalia is one of our Preservation Series Defenders that maintain their original paint and body work, but have been properly serviced and refreshed mechanically. We have an extensive check-list we complete of necessary work to ensure this Defender can be a solid and reliable daily driver. The benefit of our Preservation Series is that you can begin you Defender journey without the time and costs associated with a full-restoration.
Preserving a Classic
Every once in a while one of the Defenders destined for our full Heritage Restoration Process catches our eye and forces us to take a different approach to their rehabilitation. Amalia is one of those Defenders that wants to be driven as-is. She is extremely solid and reliable, with all the originality you can imagine from a 25+ year old Land Rover Defender 110. We have spent countless hours refreshing this Land Rover – ensuring cosmetic originality and mechanical reliability. Contact us via the form below for more details or to discuss the adoption process.

Project Amalia Weekend Adventures
It was one of those beautiful pre-fall days in Minnesota that screamed, “Road Trip.” We packed up the new drone and headed south from the workshop to a small town called New Prague. Our goal was to enjoy some gravel farm roads and check out the Gopher State Railway Museum we had learned about earlier in the week. The day was absolutely wonderful and a much-needed escape from the workshop.
