Taking the Defender Experience Overland
The Platform
We began with mechanically sound 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 Commercial, with a 200Tdi engine.
The Concept
Our client wanted something he could use as a daily driver, while maintaining the ability to take off-road and into the mud for the occasional camping trip. We wanted to build out the back as a custom camper.
The Build
We gave this old Defender 110 Commercial a modern makeover, adding panoramic windows, front brush guard, rooftop tent, and a full mechanical service. We replaced a tired old bulkhead with a fresh galvanized one.
A new brand is born, Adventure Tested Defenders
What started off as a way to document the Land Rover Defender lifestyle became a lifestyle of its own. Our first commissioned build helped guide the way we would consult with clients … as friends. This was our first build.
