Project Girona came to us as an incredibly smooth running Defender 90 that had gone through a light-restoration before she came to us. Unfortunately, it was a poor job, with a lot of corners cut. While we loved the Defender as she was, we knew there were hidden issues that would show up soon. Not something we could do to the new owners.
We stripped off all the flaking paint, back to bare metal, before repainting it in her original Fuji White color. We also pulled the motor and performed a complete rebuild, including refreshing all the mechanical systems.
