Project Overlander: a.k.a Rocky
Preservation Project with Automatic Conversion
Preservation Project with Automatic Conversion
1994 Land Rover Defender 110 300Tdi – Custom Automatic Conversion Package from Bishop+Rook.
We wanted to build something that had an aggressive look, but also performed just as well on the highway as it would on the byways.
Aggressive tyres, roof rack, off-road lights, preservationist re-spray, and an automatic conversion.
We built this Land Rover Defender 110 300Tdi to serve as a capable overland rig. We performed a sympathetic restoration of the interior to maintain the originality of the vehicle, but we completely refreshed the mechanical elements of the Defender – while converting it to an automatic transmission using our custom Bishop+Rook conversion kit.
