The Platform

A truly original Land Rover Defender 110 with only 2 previous owners – both Hot Air Balloon Pilots.

The Concept

We wanted to maintain Skye’s original character and personality, while preparing her for a life of adventures across America. We resprayed her in her original color, while adding a few modern styling features – fitting to her use and purpose.

The Build

We upgraded Skye’s look with a fresh new grill, 18″ sawtooth wheels, new tyres, and sorted all the rattles and mechanical issues to make her a solid daily driver.  The new wrap-around front brush guard matched the new roof rack system to create an elegant, but rugged exterior.
